"Metasequoia glyptostroboides". This beautiful red wood is considered a living fossil as it was previously believed extinct but rediscovered in 1941. It grows faster if soil remains wet although it can tolerate dry spells. The leave will change colors through the year giving you constant interest. Leave emerge in the spring a golden color and gradually gain a orange glow throughout the year until fall.
